Life with Lane

Life with Lane is good, busy, but good. I have been bad and have not posted for awhile. Sorry to you all as I know you look forward to new posts! You would think by now that I would have a good balance between work and home, but I am not there just yet. Especially with the semester winding down and lots of grading to do but I am becoming smarter about that. I guess I am learning! My mom and nephew rode the train up Thanksgiving and stayed a couple of days. We had a great visit. Lane was sick the whole time; running a high fever and having a runny nose. but it was nice to have my Mom there so we could all take turns. This was the first time he had ever been sick but he was better by the weekend. You will notice a runny nose in alot of the pictures.He loved playing with my nephew and especially when he let him play his video game. He thought that he was such a big boy! We put up our tree and Lane loves it! He loves the lights. He would lay under it and look up at the lights, so cute! He doesn't bother it all that much and I am so surprised. He is pointing all the time and points at his tree frequently. I thought I had some good pictures for our Christmas card, but you will notice that he either has food on his shirt or his face. Story of our life! Lane and I were looking through pictures the other day; he really enjoys looking at "Baby Lane". I was reminded of how he was this time last year and it brought tears to my eyes. I still cannot believe how much he has grown!! We are happy that he is more independent, but we miss our little baby boy! We hope you enjoy the pictures and hope to see you all soon!
