The House

We are finally moved in! Moved in but not unpacked. I still have quite a bit of that to do but I am done with school on Wednesday!!! I will have alot to do this summer and I can't wait to paint and decorate! Here are some pictures of the house. It is a 2-story 3 bedroom with a finished walkout basement. We have 2 full baths upstairs, l half bath on the main floor and another half bath in the basement. Derrick also has a separate office and all of this is on 1 acre!!! And I will try my best to get some new ones of Lane up - - just for you Aunt Cathy!!!!

This is Lane at the old house. He can't fit in the cabinets at the new house and boy is Mommy thankful for that!

Another view of the living room. So much space, we don't know what to do! I need to paint to add some color. You think Lane will be a good boy and let Mommy do that this summer? Working an hour a day during his nap time . . . . maybe I will be done by August!!!

This is one view of the backyard. A 2 tiered deck with a swimming pool. The deck has gates with locks so Lane cannot get to the pool. We have tons of landscaping and flowers!

This is the dining area. The carpet has got to go!! Not a good idea to have carpet with a toddler who throws his food!! The sliding doors lead out to the back deck.

Some of our landscaping. I have peonies, phlox, irises, orchids, day lilies, easter lillies, rasberries, blackberries. roses, hastas, ferns, ornamental grasses - - tons of flowers. That should keep me busy!!!!

Here is the little playhouse under the stairs in the basement. It is so cute! There are 2 windows and a light in there. Lane will have fun down here!

This is the master bedroom upstairs. It is empty as we are saving money to buy new bedroom furniture.

Here is the front of the house. We have a garage!!! It is nice to have a garage. The siding is gray and white trim. It looks blue in the pictures but it is gray. We are on a dead end street just about 9 miles from Springfield. The neighbors are all very friendly and the kids all play together and ride their bikes up and down the street. It is very quiet and peaceful. We love it. Lane loves having a big yard to run in and I know he will love the pool!
