It was a good summer. We got to visit with family and friends more this summer than we have in a long time. My younger sister, Sam, came for a visit and stayed with us for a while. Lane loves his "Sham". He loves to have the phone, but will never talk, except to Sam. He will talk and talk to her on the phone but she is the only one he will talk to. It was nice to have her here with us! Aunt Lori and Uncle Laban also came and stayed a weekend. It was nice to have everyone together. Lane loves to mock Uncle Laban! We went to the zoo a few times and enjoyed the new house! We are gearing up for Lane's birthday. We are probably banking on Oct. 17th so keep this date free. I will have the invitations out in the next week. 2 already - - I can't believe it!

Skunk in our backyard. Lane has enjoyed the wildlife this summer. Frogs, worms, spiders, skunks, dogs, etc.
My painted red wall. I went with Lady In Red by Dutch Boy. It looks different with the camera that I used. I really like it. I think I will paint my front door with it too!
Now, if I can get the rest of the walls painted . . . . . . .
Tony took out the giant shrub and transplanted the rose bush for me. I transplanted some azalea bushes and put in rock and new solar lights. We still have to finish the rest but this is a start. I looks so much better. I hated that bush! Thanks Tony!
