Big Boy has a New Bike!!

  Derrick thought that Lane needed a bigger bike and to put away the tricycle.  He went and got him one yesterday, and you should have seen the look on Lane's face when Derrick pulled it out of the car!!!  He was soooo excited to get his big boy bike and that is all he has talked about for the last 2 days.  They put it together and off he went.  He thinks he is some "hot stuff" riding on the road with the big boys and he is telling everyone about his new bike.  Payton (our neighbor) rode with him and he thought that was pretty cool!  He rode so much yesterday afternoon that he slept in late this morning giving him about 12 hours of sleep!!!  He is usually an early riser!  He crashed only a couple of times after some sharp turns; no wounds; just some paint scraped off already!!!

      Our pool needs a new liner and we have been waiting over 3 weeks now for someone to put it in and they have not called yet, and it is getting really frustrating!!!  We want to SWIM!!!!  This kid loves water and loves his swim time!!! Summer will be over before they ever come to fix it and Lane has been wanting to have a pool party with some of his daycare friends.  We just have to wait for them to call, it could be anytime. . . so I guess if we are out of town, we will just miss it!  Suprisingly, there are not that many who do this and it costs an arm and a leg to have it done!!!!  Hopefully they will come fix it soon!!!  If the rain will ever stop, we plan on going camping with Lane for the first time.  He will love it especially if we get to bring his new bike along.
