Do you all remember in the news back this summer the little boy that needed the heart transplant? They blogged through there time at the hospital. There were there 4 months after his transplant and he eventually lost his long battle. I have been reading their posts since June and it just makes you realize how thankful you should be for your healthy family and how much the little things in life don't matter. They have started their own blog, post pictures and videos of their little Evan and let out their feelings of the struggles they are having. They have so many people praying for them and people commenting on their page. There are people from all over the world that know of Evan's story.
I tear up everyday that I read, but it keeps me in check of how thankful I should be everyday and the praises to God that we should give and it is the least I can do to let Evan live on for the deMello Family. I believe that there is a reason for everything that happens and God has used this precious little boy to show us how we should be loving, compassionate and strong for others and nothing else matters but love and family. If you have the courage, take a look at their blog and see how strong and loving this couple is even though they feel they are falling apart. Yes I tear up everyday, and some would say, why read? Why not for their sake and to remind ourselves of what we have. You don't have to leave them a message, just pray for their healing and that God will show them the reason for Evan's life in time. I think God is using them and Evan to teach us a lesson of life, love, compassion and family. Click on the "deMello Family" on the right hand side of the page. I just felt that I needed to share this to show our families how blessed we are.
